DAMMIT STARK YOU’RE FUMBLING EVERYTHING.
Things certainly can go awkward when you’re living together for months and then decide to have a special outing. Minds go blank because it seems you’ve talked about everything already. Stark fumbled at almost every point of the date. Yet, in the end, it seems that both are happy with the outcome.
I always wondered where do they hold their belongings. Turns out Frieren’s suitcase has some sort of a pocket dimension.
Stark is growing as a fighter. This time he wasn’t afraid of the monster. His legs only gave up because he was afraid to catch a stray from Frieren 😅

She really had to do that from the most difficult angle imaginable while Fern had a clear shot of its legs. What a showoff.
Oh Stark you really need to look more closely, she wanted that pendent 😭
I on the other hand want that meat bun! It’s huge and looks amazing!
No hand holding but I heard that’s only from 10th date.I love how they answer almost immediately when a question pops in my mind. Both with why would people live is such dangerous are and why not go by the sea. I really feel like author is reading my mind!
Frieren with braids is just gorgeous. I think it’s dangerous enough to kill even the Hero Himmel.
I think I can predict all of the artworks that will be posted on !frieren@ani.social for the next 7 days…
Done!
First half:
Potentially unpopular opinion but Fern and Stark felt more like adoptive siblings at this point. Still, it was a cute date, and I can see them becoming a proper couple in the future.
Second half:
My first impression of the dude living in that dangerous forest was that he’s suspicious, and would be revealed to be a demon or someone malicious.
It’s a miracle that his family could even survive in such a hostile environment - how would his children even have a childhood?! Perhaps the family has some powerful demon-repelling magic that spans a significant area, covering more than just their house?
On a side note, the way Fern’s barrier shattered into butterflies is peak.

Sein should have been there. He’d visit a tavern for a drink or two and this time probably lament how it should have been him on a date with an older woman instead.
fern kawaii
