I just rewatched the first season of Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, AKA Skeleton Knight in Another World, over the course of a week or so, to see if it was worth watching the second season (not really; it’s generic reincarnated-as-overpowered-game-character isekai except when they’re making sure we know how eeeeeeevil the bad guys are 'cause they rape, torture, and enslave underaged elven girls, which would explain why I didn’t remember it). I’ll probably do Youjo Senki next for the same reason, but hopefully a better result.

Prior to that, I watched Ayatsuri Sakon, which I’d only seen parts of before, while I was down with bronchitis in March. The fact that I liked both the OP and ED on that one made me feel kind of old, because that hardly ever happens with more recent shows.

And I think it was Suisei no Gargantia that I marathoned this past Christmas.

I’m verrrry slowly re-watching ZZ Gundam with my wife (her first time, my second). We’re also watching a million other things so it’ll probably be a year or two before we finish, if we don’t just give up after a while and skip to CCA.

I recently finished rewatching Frieren S1 in preparation for (finally) watching S2.

…I started that rewatch back in January. Such is my life lately. 🤷️

I’ve been picking a few Hikaru no Go episodes to rewatch. Not the whole thing, just some fun games.

That series brings me memories of my chess club times. And internet cafés.

Rewatched Orb and frieren a my dad because I found a dub in our native language.

I wasn’t planning to do it but I rewatched Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei season one. I watched the first episode for some reason and I ended up just kinda watching it through lol.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? - my first and, to date, last moe slice of life. I think it formed the basis of my taste in anime and pop music because of character songs, openings, etc.

I used to watch the same movies 100 times. But today in my experience, watching the same series more than twice is a bit boring, so maybe it makes some sense to rewatch in parts: for example, season 1 is now, the second season after six months…

I’ve been showing my mom some of my favorite shows which I think she would like. At the moment we’re in the middle of Carole and Tuesday. We’ve also watched Little Witch Academia, Bookworm, A Place Further Than The Universe, Frieren, Ya Boi Kongming, Keep Your Hands off Eizouken, Apocalypse Hotel, and I think some other shows which I’m forgetting.

For me, in particular I’ve really enjoyed the LWA rewatch. It’s like the 3rd or 4th time I’ve seen it and it still just very reliably makes me feel happy.

We actually tried Dress Up Darling despite me being very hesitant about it for obvious reasons. She was kind of ok with the parts I was worried about, but she got bored of it after a little while.

I’d definitely be interested in some other potential “mom shows”, whether I’ve seen them before or not.
