This episode was really balancing on an edge. It was well directed and all, but Aqua is reaching levels of edginess never seen before, to the point it almost feels comedic.
On the other hand, the scenes with all our heroines were great. I laughed out loud when Akane was living through her internal cringe, Kana being teased was super adorable, Ruby’s suffering felt very convincing, and the introduction of Sarina’s mother was a surprise.
The next episode is going to be an hour-long special. I’m looking forward to it.

    The post-credits is a must-watch! What a reveal!!

In hindsight, that foreshadowing was obvious, but still!

Also, what’s up with the little girl? Is she a deity, one who was responsible for Aqua and Ruby’s reincarnation? If she is, she is more useless than goddesses from Konosuba and Cautious Hero. Literally zero support.

I wonder why the twins got reincarnated, given that reincarnations - with intact memories - seem to be the exception rather than the norm. A second chance for Gorou and Sarina? But now they are siblings (i.e. no more shipping, unless… 😏), unaware of each other’s previous identities, and are stuck in such a bad situation.

What’s the point then? For them to suffer? I can only imagine this is meant to be their personal hell, but what the heck did Sarina do to deserve this? This is basically a variant of the childhood-cancer argument against an omnipotent, benevolent god.

Maybe Hikaru is also a reincarnated individual, but then became twisted thanks to this deity?

If I understand correctly reincarnation is rather uncommon. She said that Ai is dead and it’s a normal thing.

I’m really excited for the next episode! And it’s an hour long one!

I just happened to let this episode run and caught it. Do any of the other episodes have post-credits…? I feel like i need to go back and check
