Detective Conan voice actress Wakana Yamazaki, known for playing Ran Mori, died on April 18. She was 61.

That’s the second major seiyuu they’ve lost for that series, and it’s only going to get worse, alas, given that it’s been running for more than thirty years now. (One wonders about Sazae-san—are any of the original seiyuu from 1969 still working on that show? Seems unlikely.)
