    This episode reminds me of Gundam SEED. Vash’s pacifist outlook has always been similar to Kira Yamato’s, but now there are combating spaceships thrown into the mix.

          Haven’t checked out season 2 yet, but I put myself through watching the first season. It’s very very different, has more action and gore, the villain is so cliche he plays an organ, and the big climax was a ::: spoiler minor spoiler progress bar :::

            Meh I might skip this one then, thanks. I mean action and gore is cool but I liked the good writing in the OG, can’t just fall into the modern trap of “make it flashy nobody is listening anyway.”
