Hello !anime@ani.social! I am happy to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Fediverse Anime Awards! I have included a list of the award categories below, so take some time and think about shows/movies that you think are worthy of your vote. To submit a nomination, send a private message to @kurisu@ani.social that says !nominate and she will send you a template for you to fill out (she checks every 5 minutes). Feel free to nominate as many items (or as few) as you want in each category. Also, in this nomination phase, if you submit an additional nomination ballot, then the new nominations will just be added to your previous ones. So, feel free to resubmit the form again to include those shows that you forgot about!

    Hikaru voters, please, consider nominating “Hibi no Kage” for Best Musical Sequence (OP/ED or insert song) category. It was an insert song from Episode 7, performed both by the choir and Hikaru and Yoshiki as a duet later.

      I believe it should be fine if you have nominated it. The actual vote is a separate round, and this song would be eligible for voting now that you have (presumably) nominated it.

        I am going to limit the nominations in each category to something manageable on my end (like 5-10 probably). So, you should go ahead and send another pm nominating it as well. If the nominees weren’t limited in the voting round, I would hit character limits in the messages.
