Yeah…this was kind of frustrating to watch. When I was reading the manga for this series, I had a lot more control to just blitz through the annoying bits. I do think that these characters get a bit more likeable as the series goes on, but they just weren’t in this episode. Akari especially comes off super annoying in this format at this point in the story.
It’s a bit of a shame since Akari is probably the best developed character as the series goes, but man was this episode tough to get through. I ended up dropping this manga because of how frustrating the lack of any kind of progress became, and this episode really threw in my face just how little Eiyuu has changed from the start of the series to way, way later when I eventually dropped it.
