Fall season is rapidly approaching! It’s time to start looking ahead to the next season and thinking about what is worth watching vs. what isn’t. This is also the official thread where I will watch for shows that you mention and will enable threads for those shows to be made by our resident bot, @rikka@ani.social.

Please feel free to use this thread as a normal weekly discussion thread as well! Anything that would normally be in the weekly discussion thread any other week is welcome here.

    Hmm. Returning shows for me this fall:

    • To Your Eternity
    • Gachiakuta
    • Touken Anki
    • BnHA
    • Spy x Family (if I decide to pick it up again—I stalled out in the middle of Season 2 because it was so uneven)
    • Ao no Orchestra (if I decide to pick it up again)
    • Kingdom (if I decide to resume from Season 4)

    Shows that I’ll probably at least take a look at:

    • Sanda (if only because the premise is so totally batshit insane)
    • This Monster Wants to Eat Me
    • Dusk Beyond the End of the World
    • Touring After the Apocalypse
    • Shabake
    • Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26

    Any remaining timeslots I have will be filled out with whatever dubious fantasy or science-fiction material premieres first, gets the highest recommendations from other watchers, and/or annoys me least.
