I’m currently re-watching Lucky Star and I’m kinda surprised that I know the majority of the ending songs (at least the karaoke ones). However kinda having a hard time with Shiarishi’s songs.
Just finished episode 18 and I was almost positive that the song here was from Yanawaraba. Perhaps the melody is similar but not sure. It seems the song is called “Kaorin no Theme” and nothing beyond that apparently.
Do you have any idea about similarities like I had?
The credits list Minoru Shiraishi as the author of the song. I guess Kaorin is a nickname for one of the voice actresses: Kaori Fukuhara.
So maybe just a song made only for lucky star, so he could confess his love for her? 😅
Well, as for lyrics, yeah it’s most likely. The music / melody on the other hand, sounds familiar. Yanawaraba also covers old songs, so it’s possible for the melody used here from an old song. It doesn’t have to be identical though. I just can’t be sure.
