The falling and capture scene: I feel like they could’ve sold it better. I just thought it was a bit strange how Myne would crash but Angelica is fine, then Myne can’t get to them but Cornelius could (Could make sense if everybody, including the kidnapper, normally slows down their highbeasts to match Myne’s speed. Or she can’t accelerate very quickly. Or I guess you could say Myne is just a klutz, that seems like the answer that the anime is selling.), then Cornelius rescues them by intercepting them feet off the ground which is somehow fine. It was just a bit too much all at once for me to take in.

Grandpa Bonifatius beats up the intruders with his bare hands, really putting the knights to shame there. It seems like the season finale next week will be high stakes high action. I’m rooting for grandpa.
