Agreed. Anytime I open Netflix I want to close it again. The UX is soooooo annoying
The most noticeable improvement in Crunchyroll is that their new player allows typset subtitles to be rendered more smoothly.
I mean, duh, anime is just better. That said, this isn’t good news. Maybe this ship has already sailed, but when things get popular sharks start circling and everything good is kvlled in favor of profits. TTRPGs got big, now everything orbits the worst parts of the industry (dnd and the games made in direct reaction to it).
