The stiff direction and editing has some rough edges, but the plot in the first episode wouldn’t be out of place in any isekai harem building show. Some of the animation is appreciably skilled for those who appreciate such things: Panning shots around walking figures, for example. But the selection of scenes where they put the effort in, felt odd. Like why would you spend precious animation resources into a scene like the above?
