I have theory. Nadeshiko’s girlfriend shown in the beginning of “Dear Friends”, but there is no character with such hair:
If we omit this fact, then Miho suits perfectly. There were moment in anime when Nadeshiko’s gf was upset because she enjoyed playing online game with some other girl (in manga that was Yui btw), what is typical of characters like Miho. Maybe your intuition says the same, since you mentioned it under post with Miho’s art.

I can’t remember who I suspected the most out of her friends but I guess it could be someone else completely.
