I thought it’s [polar] bear, too big ears for otter, as for me. I’m not really into live actions, but were there concert in these pajamas~? I want to watch it.
Do you count seiyuu concerts as live action? In quite a few concerts Yuka-chin and Tsuda-chan do a Kyouko and Yui duet in their pajamas. In the last full concert “Nanamorichu Happy Party” the seiyuu for Sakurako, Himawari, Chitose and Ayano did a song together in the pajamas.
I used wrong synonym for concerts XD. Maybe live events suits better.
“Nanamorichu Happy Party”
Found it, thx! I have a new unusual feeling when listening Himawari’s and Chitose’s and other seiyuu’s voices irl. I had no idea anime live events maybe so entertaining. I will keep watching it.
I really like seiyuu events because I really like cute girls doing cute things and they are voiced by real life cute girls and in such events I can see them doing cute things like sing and dance and dress up in all kinds. So it’s like CGDCT all the way down.
You’re right it feels like CGDCT, but I also feel a little bit of embarassment or something like that. You know, there are many things irl which look like created for small children (usually for girls), but indeed are for adult men, for instance, Hatsune Miku, any CGDCT, some Mahou Shoujo. That’s ok. But looking how 20+ girl says: “HEEEYY, MINNA, OOMURO SAKURAKO ( cartoon character) IS HEREE! […] OPPAI KINSHHINN!!!” - is absolutely new level! That’s almost like in Akihabara maid café where you and your waitress cast a moe-moe kyun spell (honestly I would die of embarrassement xd). Untill I keep in mind that those seiyuu are indeed happy and had/have a dream to be in otaku world I feel myself more ankorvat. Shortly, I like it
I wonder, if you traveled to Japan, you would visit some maid cafés?
I understand the embarrassment. Personally I’m kinda of over that (I just don’t care anymore lol). A lot of seiyuu events will have something where the seiyuu is pretending to be the character and the crowd might have an interaction, but when it comes to screaming OPPAI KINSHIII, things like that are very much a Yuruyuri thing not so much present in events of other anime as far as I know. It’s a bit extra embarrassing for sure.
I’m not exactly made of going-to-japan money but if I were to go I guess I would visit a maid cafe to experience it. The main events would probably be things like the K-ON! or Non Non Biyori schools and the Lucky Star shrine. I would love most to attend a Yuruyuri concert but there is an extremely low probability that they do another one as well as at a time such that I would be able to go…
