To me this was below average. I gave it a 4/10 on MAL. Honestly the only thing I enjoyed was the joke right at the end where the cat girls were attentively following the windscreen wipers. I would ave given it middling 5 but the little kids trying to become MC’s wives pushed it over to a 4.
This show any good? The visual makes it look like a bad furry harem anime so like I did not bother, but I enjoyed campfire cooking. Probably mostly as a food show tho lol.

Unfortunately just an average trash isekai (though I don’t mind that it is trash isekai). It’s not notably bad or anything, just not notably good either. There wasn’t much cooking in the show, if that is your interest.
I mean cooking was my interest for the other. Doesn’t need to be cooking. Kinda figured this was probably just fine and not particularly good or bad. Now that solo leveling and Zenshu are over I was looking at something else to fill the gap.
Pretty sure Kenichi’s line in the intro 命を燃やせ 今がその時だ (inochi wo moyase / ima ga sono toki da) is a reference to this, which also fits his around 40 age.
They basically finished the manga without the extra chapter, but the mayonaise-mage who is probably also from Japan did get a cameo in the after credits scene.
