I think maybe Lina Inverse from Slayers. But picking a favorite is hard.

I mean, I suppose there’s always potential. It’s just that there were 2 seasons already, so not only does season 1 have to do good enough to warrant a sequel, we need season 2 to also do well enough, and then we get something “new”.
OMG I can’t wait. This was amazing.
For context, we were recovering all VMs from a failed storage array. It seemed logical at the time to restore all VMs from the last DR Image. I see now for DCs that is not the case, and you should always do a force removal (which I thought was a last resort, but seems to actually be the first resort unless you’re doing a scheduled migration), and rebuild. This took longer than bringing the VM back up, but we did manage to rebuild from scratch and it did resolve the issue (obviously).
I watched the first episode of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, and then kind of had a blog post that trashed it for whitewashing slavery took my enjoyment out of it. But now the second season is also highly rated - I wonder if I should go back and watch it?
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen - the top MAL comment kind of strikes me as likely: “This anime is a cheap copy of My Next Life as a Villainess.” If you’re watching this, what makes this worth watching if I’ve already seen that?
Also, is MAL just overly negative in their ratings?
Yea, I guess I’ve outgrown Bleach or something - I sort of like the first part of TYBW, but the second part I just haven’t made time to watch. I’m actually more interested in the Vending Machine one lol.
We make the prompt be user@hostname so no matter what you use it shows what host you’re on. This is configurable in .bashrc iirc.
I might also recommend tmux, there’s a script you can use to also set prompt in the window view. Though this is best used as a jumpserver setup.
I found the vending machine one to be strangely interesting in a stereotypical kind of way. Kenshin I’ll probably drop, seemed like a direct copy or close enough of the original and live action movies. I liked My Happy Marrige a lot more than I expected and really need to see the next episode to make a determination. I really didn’t like The girl I like forgot her glasses. The production is… something, and not in a good way. And the story isn’t catching me.
I just got on Matrix recently, and in my limited use it seems basically Discord to me? At least if you use Element Web UI I guess.
I’ve never heard of Fosscord - why that vs Matrix?
I’m going to suggest Matrix (or an old school IRC) over Discord at this point. No reason to direct from lemmy back to a closed commercial ecosystem.
I kind of hope not. I loved the original FMA anime, Brotherhood was a DNF due to boredom for me.
This felt like a very similar / the same as the original anime, but more serious I guess? IDK, I really liked the original, but it’s been 20 years since I saw it, so maybe my memory is just wrong. I saw little flashes of the Samurai X OVA in the prologue and the ending.
I’m just not sure I want to re-watch something that I basically know what’s going to happen.
Given megumin was already kind of a wish.com version of better characters that’s quite a comment for me.
Ok, why is even anime doing so many remakes? Especially for Spice and Wolf, where they did like the first 2 books of like 13? Why not do IDK book 3?
I just have no interest in a mage that casts literally one spell a day and passes out completely. It “works” in the main series because there are other characters, but really that joke was played out for me in the first idk 5? Times they did it.
Hate to say it, but I found Kaguya-Sama way overhyped. I mean, it’s a solid A- of a show for me, but I’ve definitely enjoyed other genre shows more and found them way more humorous (like My Dress Up Darling). Not saying it’s bad, but I was pretty let down by how nothing much happened and it was not super funny to me for whatever reason.
Can you explain - is this using Bing, or is there some setting in ChatGPT premium I’m unaware of? I am planning to try https://labs.kagi.com/fastgpt some also, but it’s not the same exactly.
Honestly, I’ve been saying I’ll still be on reddit for the sysadmin sub for work, at least as long as old.reddit.com exists cause I’m at a PC when I’m working. But I looked at the sub today and realized - like with /r/news … there’s way less posts and content than there used to be.
And what is posted there is low interest. Also, IDK if I’ve “leveled up” (like 7 years ago TBH), but my problems I’d be pushed to post about usually fly completely over the heads of most other posters on that sub. So it’s not even valuable to me in solving problems unless I happen to hit on like 3 other posters who are actually as or more experienced as I am. Otherwise I get silence or “generic responses” I already know that isn’t actually helpful.
So… I’m starting to think I won’t miss much from that sub either. And I already had other time wasters.
I hope we get some more users on here, and people who are higher skilled (is the fediverse a "you must be this techie to ask questions filter?).
Idk, I think Frieren isn’t about the action, and all the stuff about elves and maturing, and what is really important etc is a breath of fresh air to me. And has just been interesting and different to me.
