I’ve been following cableporn for a very long time and I still don’t really know why things I set up as they are. I have intricate knowledge of the software side of things but hardware is alien to me. By playing around with it as a game I’d finally grasp the concepts.

A useful tip I picked up was to use ii instead of j for an inner loop. It’s far more distinct than j.
If for some terrible reason you have even more inner loops you can easily continue the trend i, ii, iii, iiii, iiiii - or iv, v if you’re feeling roman

And by using tabs the IDE can customise whether it’s displayed as two character or four character deep indentation. It just makes so much more sense.
It’s insane that anyone considered spaces to be a sensible default. Yet I primarily develop in C# where four spaces are the standard so that’s what I use. However the reality is the IDE handles all the formatting automatically so I’m never actually typing four spaces
I found the customisation of Sync to be severely lacking. The default text size is illegible and the sleuth of options to increase that size have practically no fidelity so end up making the design look terrible.
