It’s from death note and one of the sub groups put just as keikaku or something along those lines with that translator note and it stuck and has been directly used or referenced ever since. Kinda goes along with people die if they are killed levels of stupidity but we love that kind of shit apparently.

I read some of the manga and it has it’s moments but still gave pedo vibes imo. The girl is of succubus descent or some similarly iffy shit iirc.

I’m not up do date though. Up to where I read, the male character doesn’t seem pedo but the production just has some off feeling details

I didn’t mean it so much as seed wasn’t weird because it totally was, but that it was a weird experience because it was the same character designer. watching it after seed made it more confusing, especially since my friends and I watched it all in one marathon while high.

I read probably like 5 chapters of the mango when it was new but didn’t keep up with it. Does this series actually have anything that needs censoring? I was under the impression that it was about otherworld people struggling with our shitty addictive unhealthy foods and trying to lose weight.

I think I mostly agree from what I can remember but its vague recollection and I focused a bit much on weird things. My favorite parts are the ridiculous amount of times mostly setsuna but also some others dramatically say “gundam” or a very short phrase with the term gundam in it, and also trans am. My friends and I got a real kick out of trans am. I watched as it was airing and I’ve forgotten more of it than the others I think. Honestly apart from recalling enjoying it, the cameo of sorts in hayate no gotoku was more memorable than a lot of the actual show when I try to remember it.

Really all the gundam series are pretty flawed but I watched and mostly enjoyed most of them up until life became to expensive and I ended up not finishing orphans or even starting a few of the others because of work. I guess I binged mercury on the first long weekend after s2 finished. Eventually I’ll finish them all for the char clones if nothing else. I have a soft spot for those char clones but was disappointed by mama char from witch from mercury who pretty much instantly revealed herself even though it was obvious, and I didn’t get my char clone fix.

Probably half of those episodes are filler. Maybe about 100 of the filler eps are good though. I guess the movies kinda are too but they are generally pretty good.
