        What does that even mean?

        I posted the same thing in the programmer humor community of programming.dev and got 75 upvotes…

          What does what even mean? ZQ? In normal mode it closes any files you’re currently editing (buffer) and closes vim, but discards any unsaved changes.

          You might want to frantically press Esc a few times beforehand, to exit any other mode you got yourself into while trying to exit vim.
