Princess Reincarnation: The Legendary Arch Mage (♂) Becomes a Princess Knight and Creates a Legendary Order of Lady Knights and Becomes Unrivaled | MAL | atsu.moe | Mangadex
Hmmm. Having read the first 16 chapters, it’s another one of those “overpowered hero” stories that I’ve become quite sick of. The main enemy seems to be the patriarchy spread across various traditionalist characters, which is kind of interesting, but so far the MC has solved every issue by being overpowered, which is lame. At least the author doesn’t drag out the “this is why the hero is awesome” monologues/explanations like some other works in the genre …
Also the trans-coding stayed non-explicit so far. I still think that it is trans-coded, but it’s not preachy or angsty about it.
I’ve stopped expecting good representation from the junk food genres (affectionate), just… slightly better, at least compared to when power fantasies had uniform gender roles.
Boys Run the Riot (trans), Delicious in Dungeon (neurodivergence) and The Moon on a Rainy Night (deaf) have really good representation if that’s what you’re looking for.
trans-coding ahoy!
