Thank you for the responses here @MentalEdge@sopuli.xyz! While I agree that it sucks that we all have to be extra skeptical about ai now and asking about it is fine, all of my communities explicitly ban ai posts. I would hate for a legitimate artist to not be shared because of a false ai accusation. I also know most posters here are careful to sort through things prior to posting. That being said, I appreciate the skepticism, and please report if you think a post features AI art, but if/when shown otherwise it’s a good way to learn how to get better at spotting ai usage.
