While not widespread, I hope this will not stop you. If you want this kind of peace in your life, I strongly suggest disregarding contemporary conventions and just doing it. There is a norm of always having your phone and always being available, but you may depart from this norm. Everyone is used to me being “off the grid”. In a sense, this is an act of setting boundaries.
You need an act. The act of drinking beer. Beer is old. 3-5 thousand of years. Still actual. Do it. :)
