Lemmy doesn’t notify for body mentions, so I had to make it check every post for a mention, but it works. You can also just leave the body blank to trigger it. Obviously it can’t edit the body. If you want that you’d have to run my entire posting tool and have it create the whole post for you.

I chose to make it work via a matrix chatbot so you can actually use it via phone or desktop just the same. It just needs to run on a machine somewhere. https://github.com/CTalvio/lemmytrixposter That’ll let you get it up and running provided you know how to set up python and run a .py file. Looking into making it an executable but that doesn’t really play nice with some of the hackier solutions I employed in writing it. Might have to ditch/redo some features to make it work. Edit: Got a working Linux executable, working on windows now.
