But, to play the devil’s advocate, Discord seems to have some kind of a forum functionality, however I’ve never encountered those Forum Channels myself.

It will be slightly different since it doesn’t automatically search actions and file names. So if you bind it to Quick Open as suggested by the link, you’ll have to put
to search actions and not files.

salient_one@lemmy.villa-straylight.socialto Programmer Humor@lemmy.ml•Programming Languages1·2 years agoThat’s correct. I don’t think anyone would seriously call Python that today.
salient_one@lemmy.villa-straylight.socialto Programmer Humor@lemmy.ml•Programming LanguagesEnglish1·2 years agoYou’re right! I stand corrected and thank you for sharing. There were already big JS apps (notably, Gmail in 2004) before V8 came out. Yet, am I wrong to think Node.js started the JS obsession that lasted for a while?
salient_one@lemmy.villa-straylight.socialto Programmer Humor@lemmy.ml•Programming Languages1·2 years agoWell, to be fair, Matz (the Ruby creator) called Python a toy language.

I sometimes think to grok CSS you have to have a printing degree.
