If it’s only an English dub, why would Japanese be better? It means you’re watching it in the language it was natively made in and thus unaltered?

Best “slice up your heart anime”… Clannad: After Story

Looking forward to this. I know everyone hates on the MC for how they look, but I absolutely love how maniacal and single minded he is about magic and how his power plays in to that. And then there’s his maid.

I’m enjoying it, and given that it’s still being made, I’m guessing your opinion is in the minority.

I have a feeling I’m about to release a torrent…. Why do you hate it so much?

Should have gone with Tomoyo, then wouldn’t have had the heartbreak of After Story ( I know they did a single episode OVA of her route)

I didn’t think I’d like when they switch to other games but it provides a good way to break things up.

So the 4th is over. Does anyone know what the announcement was?

The Magical Index series seriously weaves and overlaps in similar timeframes across three different series:

• A Certain Magical Index
• A Certain Scientific Railgun
• A Certain Scientific Accelerator

It’s so intertwined at points you can jump to another series to see what’s happening to that character at the same time as another character. I tried to put together a chronological watch order and got half way through it.

Because that “dog shit” company is helping to fund dubs which I happen to like. Hidive is the only other real player in that market

If you watch Fate/Stay Night, just be careful as there are 5 series out and here are their differences:

• Zero - takes place 10 years before FSN. Would actually suggest watching it after FSN but you can watch it before. It expands on the Grail War
• Fate/Stay Night (The OG) - Came out in 2006, the original VN had 3 “paths” and all of them ended up animated, but you had to play through them in order. This one is the base, focuses on Saber and is probably your best intro to the Fate franchise
• Unlimited Blade Works - this is the second path that focuses on Rin. There was a movie and an anime series. The movie is okay, but highly compressed. The anime has earned the nickname “Unlimited Budget Works” because of how awesome the fight scenes are animated. This one is by far my favorite
• Heaven’s Feel - this was a trio of movies that in the final path and focuses on Sakura. This one was the darkest of all the paths imo. The first movie had a good set up, second was awesome, third was just an okay landing

Of course there are a multitude of spin offs, some related, some not. Basically I like to look at them all independently with just an understanding of what the “Fate” concept is and enjoy them from there.

I assume this will be the “just cousins” censored version?

Came here to find After Story, wasn’t disappointed.

I’d say I’m up there. Put me in the top 2%

in favor of wholesome family sitcom with standard spy stuff
