Just take the damn compliment
Just take the damn compliment
I make all my sucky code public because I’ve never seen a codebase that doesn’t suck in some way
At some point you end up surpassing databases and end up with a giant pile of spreadsheets called a data warehouse
Cool premise but personally if I were going to show this off I’d use an example where it worked correctly
I tried using mint and had a horrible time. I never tried pop OS, maybe next time I have the heart to try linux again I’ll go with that, or whatever the equivalent flavour of the month will be at that time.
Or the one I got a lot: “why did you chose that distro? You need to be using [completely different distro each time]”
I wanna use Linux, but last time I tried I had so many issues that it made it almost impossible to be productive. There are so many possible variations of a setup that trying to find answers either resulted in incorrect or just downright combative responses
True, that would make it better to find the answer. My experience with traditional forums though is that I have to sign up to a brand new website and make a post only to not get a response, and because it’s a brand new site I have to keep checking it for a response every day.
I think it can be useful for complex questions, but in my experience most of these discord servers are full of people asking very basic questions and very jaded people giving incredibly rude and cynical answers
Yeah but when you see the same 5 posts every month it gets tiring. If the other post was in a different place though, then it’s not a repost
A hashed password is always the same length though is it not?

I’d love to use Linux but I’ve had nothing but unsolvable problems on Linux desktop
Go and nodeJS :D PHP and python D:
Between us we could fill the position
Or even worse: 1 result, the source code on github where the error message is thrown
It’s not really a proxy, it’s just making another request as part of its request
A HTTPS parking spot would require your car to be inside of a truck
If you clone a reference to someone you have a completey separate body but any actions taken affect the original as well
