Are the sword police calling Kenshin “yasai otoko”? Vegetable man? Can anyone explain this to me?

The mods not being present is definitely an issue. This is the highest sub-count Anime community on Lemmy. With no one to moderate it, I surprised to see it is so civil even after the reddit migration had begun.

I thought it looked amazing. They are definitely trying to do more 3D stuff, so maybe that is what is weirding you out?

Holy cow, what an episode! The animation quality and the camera panning is all incredible. You can tell MAPPA is putting everything into this. I hope the quality keeps up all season, just like they did with Chainsaw Man.

Gojo has been a little shid forever, and well, that was expected!

The shot of Fushiguro there towards the end. I am very excited to see more of him!

Also, whew, everyone is so freaking hot. I am going to need to get a tall glass of water for this each week to handle the thirst.

I feel like the episode had good pacing, though maybe a tad slow in places. They maybe feel they need to ease us in even though we knew it was going to be a prequel, not a sequel as many had hoped. JJK Zero kind of prepared us for it, and I am thoroughly enjoying it even though I would probably be enjoying more of Yuji’s story line a little more.

All in all, 4/5, can’t wait for more!
