Seriously, I usually use Poetry these days for most projects, shit just works, build well and lets me distribute my code from PiPy just fine. Everything in one pyproject.yaml.

I definitely get the small town feel. Like I regularly run into the same users, even from different instances. No one here tries to be a jerk, at least from what I’ve seen. And when you create content, people actually look and care.

Most repos use main now for their core / base branch name now. Same idea more or less. I’ve seen some folks use production for their default branch name as well.
