I read this manga a good while back. It’s a much darker story than Frieren and not episodic.

Second half of the fight is so good! Love the special ED as well.
NOOOO! Cliffhager again!
KonoSuba is worth mentioning. The “KonoSuba” voice line always has something to do with what the characters were doing/feeling right before the break. Like if Aqua did something cheeky the story, she would say “KonoSuba” in a cheeky voice.
Yeah for sure. I was looking at the Goodyear, Audi, etc. banners and thinking if they actually sponsered this anime lol. Usually they change irl brand names to something like Goodtire, Aubi or something.
Pretty interesting to me that they chose to tell the story through a cameraman’s eye. Curious to see what’s next.
Having read the manga, I think this is one of the best examples of the anime adaptation enhancing the original work. I really enjoy the story pacing so far, the anime doesn’t hesitate to slow down on some story bits to let us soak in the world and character’s emotions. It’s a very comfy pacing. Then on top of that, the beautiful animation and OST just takes this to another level. I can’t commend the OST enough, it is SO good.
Another fantasy series I was excited for this season was S-rank daughter. I enjoyed the LN story, but the Frieren anime adaptation just blows it out of the water in terms of animation quality and makes it look like an amateur production.
Food wars, Eromanga Sensei come to mind.
^Unless you want to delve into the atrocity that is My life as Inukai-san’s Dog?^I’m sorry^^
Three genres separate, or all three at the same time?
I don’t know the answer to your question. I just wanted to say good taste! Kids on the Slope is one of my favorites.
I’ve read the first few light novels of Nanatsu no Maken, and they’re pretty good so looking forward to the anime!
I didn’t grow up with Dragon ball, frankly not a big fan of the art style either, but I recognize the importance he and his work brought to the manga and anime industry. Rest in peace, legend.
