They updated to a version that included a patch for that exploit, however it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, because they’re still on 22.x, support for which has already been terminated
Not only that, but with JS you by definition have no code obfuscation. Minifying it just saves some bandwidth
Production errors at their finest
Debugging Typescript without proper tools, in a nutshell. The original file might have 72 lines, but the transpiled JS file it’s debugging is like 3 times that many
My guy, why would I say that I use photon if I didn’t like it lol.
I’ve taken a minute to look up who you are. Thanks for the hard work c: I suppose i didn’t get the point across in the main post, but Photon had been my frontend of choice
@CodeMonkeyUK@lemmy.world may have pointed out the reason. I’m not seeing it, because I’m on the same instance as the board itself. Would love to have an option to see it for everything else either way
I’ve been using the Photon front-end on both desktop, and mobile, pretty much since it became available on this instance, after trying a dozen different mobile apps, that weren’t an obvious 3-day hack, just to fill the niche. Boost is superior than all of them, combined, without any exaggeration
It just feels like home. Rocket launched immediately
Check out the post here.
Thanks for all the hard work!
I’ve tried Liftoff, Connect, and Thunder so far. Thunder is by far the more stable one, and it’s pretty convenient too
It has the same issue as pretty much any other CSS library from that era. It’s a gigantic bundle, with a gigantic list of patches applied to each object, which also expects you to have 100% satisfaction with what it provides out of the box. The moment you start ripping things out to customize something, it becomes a massive drag, at which point you could have just written plain CSS to begin with
That was precisely the reason. I prefer strongly typed languages languages, so it just felt gross to write that
