it’s not a lot of work to look up the artist yourself and see that they have a portfolio going back as far as a decade full of drawings of comparable quality.

They’re still around, just gotta look for em.

My top anime of 2024, I rewatched it four times. Can’t wait, I’ll probably rewatch it to celebrate.

Agreed, that’s what I mean about the noise filter blending in the details, they have other pieces where there is no noise filter and the skin, although it has a lot of details like freckles, creases, etc. it still looks super smooth unlike real skin.

Realistically the legs are probably just actual drawings. Another likely reality is photoshop, to apply a noise filter, which would do a lot of heavy lifting in blending the details together to make it feel realistic.

Took me a minute to browse through their portfolio and twitter account to find that they have posted sketches, gifs, and even memes about their drawing process. Semi-realistic anatomy and hyper detail appears to be a large focus of their work. People need to stop accusing everything of being AI, it makes only you look the fool and is disrespectful to people that work hard to make their pictures look good.

She had striking orange eyes and then they put her through the Instagram filter and now she’s lame and has generic red eyes.

the Air Jordans just make this comical. I get the whole trend of streetwear getting mixed with cyberpunk or whatever, but in this case everything else is so incredibly removed from the idea of normal-ass shoes it just looks incredibly silly.

unless that goal also includes splitting into multiple, fully staffed and fully equipped studios.

It started off interestingly, the character designs were nice, but it just got progressively worse and worse and worse. I called it torture porn because it felt like the writers were getting off on putting the characters through horrible situations and being horrible to each other.

I love me some depressing stories, but Guilty Crown was just depressing for the sake of being depressing.
