My dude, you’re missing the point. You expect them to give accurate numbers, but aren’t willing to do the same. Double standards are pretty lame.

But it’s simple basic 101 scripting, by your own words. If you expect the other user to do the work for a one off calculation instead of assumptions, I’m sure it should be trivial for you to throw something together?

This is basic 101 scripting work that happens
Cool, so you can share the total runtime?

How is “every anime has one season of 10 episodes running 25 minutes each” an overestimation? I’d call that an underestimation. Yeah, there are anime with much shorter runtimes, but there are also many anime with well over 100 episodes.
Not to mention, are you really expecting this random person to write an interface for their API to get exact numbers for an off the cuff online discussion?

New Anime, or new season?

Dark is kinda on the nose.
The anime doesn’t make it clear (yet) but the mask makes it impossible for him to be recognized as Light.

O.o I dunno that I’d consider Overlord 18+

Was confused when my brain read that as “Yuri Camp” X.x

This is true.

July for Japan and September for US IIRC, so… I don’t know if that counts.

I can’t think of a single simul-release anime movie tbh.

I’m glad this got a season 2. The whole “cooking while adventuring” genre is something I didn’t know I needed in my life.

I still haven’t watched any of the anime, but I do believe there was origin prior to the party. However, it was peppered throughout the manga and not part of the first chapter. Though, most of the “prior to getting to the dungeon” that we see in the manga is similarly peppered iirc.
Tbh it’s one of the reasons I didn’t think this manga would work well as an anime without some rework. It’s story is oddly structured, and it was a little lacking in the story department beyond
I’m super powerful now, let’s literally torture the people that ruined my life.

They seemed to have expanded upon the origin story compared to the manga (not sure about the LN which I’ve not read), and also gave a reason why Light’s gift was not useful until it did.
Wasn’t this explained in the first few pages of the manga? I’ve not watched the anime yet, but I could have sworn it was because
his ability is dependent on how deep into a dungeon he was?

This feels like an odd one to make into an anime. I enjoyed it, but it also… wouldn’t want it as an anime as originally written.

This only works if you’re already caught up. Good luck “accidentally binging” 18 days straight (excluding credits).

While this is some bs from a worker perspective, this is also one of the main places LLMs thrive: translation.
If it weren’t for the fact that they are sidestepping the cost of a translator (and subsequently costing someone(s) a job), I’d actually be not appalled by this.

Yeah, this is a huge factor. Even if they’ve got dubs only a week behind, which was the case for season one of shield hero, I don’t want to sit and not watch the latest episode simply because it’s not dubbed. So subbed is what I went with constantly.
Oh, I legitimately wasn’t aware there was a free tier. I dropped them right around when the Funimation shuffle happened.
