Even your fav Ghibli movies would help. I’d have different recommendations for some whose fav was Princess Kaguya as apposed to Pom Poko or Nausicaa

Not too worried since they aren’t adverse to put out shorter stuff like Luluco and Inferno cop. Or do a star wars Visions or Cyberpunk. They definitely feel like they have some business consciousness decisions to do the stuff they like

I was going to add Ao Ashi OP2 also as it immediately stood out but I don’t think it hits as hard without context. It is better produced but the same vibes as Ace of Diamond OP3 where when you are invested in the character it hits way better

Netflix could be a reason. I don’t even remember discussion about JoJo part 6. The only netflix show I’ve seen active discussion about in the past few years is Baki and I’ve been actively searching for it

One that stands out is Umineko, one movie per episode would work very well.

The next three Kaiji arcs after Season 2 could be done in a movie each also (Mahjong Minefield, Test of Friendship and One Poker)

That doesn’t even matter considering how annoying the new character is. If I had any sort of standards on what I watched I wouldn’t have gone back to episode 2

Even kids stuff can be a bit risque due to different cultures. Digimon has a scene where the kids are picked up by a random college kid, Yu-Gi-Oh has a scene where Tea is implied to be about to be sexually assaulted and the OG dragon ball is half about a girl who wants to get laid and an old pervert who also wants to get laid.

Do you know what about it interests her? Is it the action or the pretty art? Both those could pull different threads

Worked with a Japanese company has this and they refused to acknowledge anything as a bug if it didn’t get discussed in the spec. Oh, this new feature does not interact with the old feature well, just a limitation. Write that up as a new feature. It was killer trying to assign anything as a bug for this reason since you could only get them to fix stuff that explicitly contradicted their Japanese spec.

I love the fact that there are no hints or references to the previous stuff. Feels great for speculation, newcomer-friendly, movie-ending friendly, more freedom in character and OP/ED and just feels a bit more respectful when they don’t feel the need to remind you.

Just a small thing but I really respect that there is no indication from the S01 or the movie in the OP or ED. You could easily tell someone this is a brand new anime if they knew nothing of the topic or the title suggesting it’s a season 2 It’s basically the opposite of the 10 minute re-cap with the added benefit of being newcomer friendly and a jump-in point
