Unless you want fanservice, I’d recommend Tomo-chan is a Girl instead. Somewhat similar idea, but it focuses more on Tomo and Jun (the main characters) figuring out what they want their relationship to be, after being friends since childhood. Tomo is possibly the cutest Tomboy in anime.

There are other alternatives, still. The Devil is a Part Timer uses Sentucky Fried Chicken and Mag Ronald’s, for instance.
