I have trouble entering the series simply because I don’t trust Japanese creators not named Miyazaki enough to address the question of whether the people that stole magic from the world are really the good guys when their representative is a hot twink who does nothing about bullying and direct attempts at sabotage between his students.

Can’t believe I almost dropped this one for the shojo nonsense of the first fifteen minutes, only for it to be revealed that the shojo nonsense is, apparently, deliberate.

They did it a bit in episode 4, one of the reasons I dropped this series. Not a great sign when it’s in a boss fight that’s supposed to be one of your early hooks.

I mean, it was probably the least offensive reason, but I have to admit I thought maybe the studio was finally starting to get a handle on their weirdo cinematography that apparently saw Gods of Egypt and decided it was the coolest idea ever to wildly spin the camera in action scenes just cuz you can do that with computers now.

I’m pretty disappointed it started going Full Isekai Logic, I thought the villainess Swordmaster chick had potential based on character design alone.

Honestly speaking the only more based isekai out there is the John Brown isekai, looking forward to this continuing chain of nonsense
