I know im the odd one out, but i hated that show since it was on cartoon network as a kid. Like why is Spike so bad at his job. Hes just so incompetent. I guess it would be rather realistic in the fact that most people are idiots. I liked all the other characters, but spike always ruined it for me.

Higurashi is the most horror themed anime on the list. Maybe im just biased because i dropped it as a kid because it creeped me out to much.

I used to wait till blurays dropped so when i first watched Fate/Zero i was amazed at how great it looked. It even stuttered my pc with the kraken fight.

Edit: its the same studio who did demon slayer. All their animes are beautiful.

Are there any other books you’d compare it to? Im always looking for a new series to read.

Theres a couple of other FLCLs, i wouldn’t recommend them.

Toradora i think is next on my to read list. I have read 1 romcom, and i think its time to give it a shot!

For people who dont like the anime, i fucking hate aqua, the light novels are still very good. I ended up liking Aqua after seeing the book side of her, and the story is finished so you can go read till the end right now. Very satisfying ending to the whole story, which will probably get fully animated around 2030.

My perception on his deaths is probably screwed from the newer arc where its quiet a bit lol.

They’re the makers of: bakemonogatari, modoka, 3 gatsu(march comes in like a lion), kino no tabi movie, maria+holic and some others that are popular but i didnt care for like sensie negima, nisekoi, and dance in the vampires bund.

Its less gundam mechas and more space opera masterpiece with mechas, but i recommend Mugen no Ryvius/Infinite Ryvius. Imagine lord of the flies but in space.

As much as i agree anime is Japanese made, anime sites have decided to allow Chinese and Korean anime for whatever reason. Which is unfair to avatar.

I think avatar shouldve just been grandfathered into the anime community. I believe most anime lovers would agree it is definitely an american made anime. Is that a slippery slope to other american shows being grouped in? I think not, because there are no other beloved american animes other than avatar.

So just wondering does your script tally each animes genres then list them in order for which appears most. Wouldnt asking peoples top three be more of a test of them knowing their own likes or is there more to it.

Oh i can imagine, it was the first site to do lists and has kept ahead for awhile. I just wish they had a better tagging system. Everything on mal has to go through shitty mods which reject a lot of pointless things.

Yeah i wouldnt know which order since they are all interchangeable to me. I think using anilist which has a lot more tags instead of genres that are user recommended would be cooler, but also a lot more trouble I suspect.
