This image looked sus to me so I checked some of the creators images with an AI detector and they seem to be AI generated.
I think I see what you mean, mostly because I’m noticing some noise in some pieces upon zoom-in. Even if that noise is from compression it would 100% trip the AI detectors. Looking at the artist’s works in their Pixiv gallery I’m not really seeing anything that outright convinces me it’s AI.
Best argument I see is this this piece from another artist but I can’t say I haven’t seen regular artists do similar things.
Please never use these as a way to judge things. They dont work.
I believe the most popular ones are also made by AI companies, which defeats the whole point of using them to prevent AI images from being mistaken for human art.
The ones I used so far worked quite well, when combined with a close look of a human eye.
