Original commentary:

Running it through a translator:

I got a request from my Twitter suggestion box asking, “I want to see an RWBY illustration,” and since it was around Halloween, I decided to do an RWBY Halloween illustration. This year, Ruby’s witch costume is my way of celebrating Halloween. I actually wanted to prepare illustrations for the entire RWBY team, but I didn’t have time to finish them, so maybe I’ll do that next year or something? Every now and then, I get comments from followers saying, “I actually follow your work—I’m rooting for you,” and those really encourage me. I’ll keep doing my best, so please stick with me.

Sorry that I can’t do the translation myself, when they get this wordy it goes beyond my fluency level (^_^ ;)

Happy Halloween everyone, and a happy birthday to Ruby Rose! I’m not normally one to celebrate fictional characters’ birthdays (or even people I don’t personally know) but since hers falls on a major holiday it’s easy to remember. Have fun and stay safe out there <3
