Every time I look at this I have to zoom in because I think she’s crushed the lid and also that the lid is like 2 sizes too large for the jar.
The only way I can make it make sense in my head is if both the jar and the lid are plastic, even though it’s way more common to see tomato sauce in glass jars with metal lids. Maybe I’m just not horny enough but the main thing I’m seeing here is tomato sauce crimes
I hope I’m not misreading you as I’m trying to wake up this morning (if so, I’m sorry) but in case you can’t process it, she’s using either a potholder or one of those hand-sized rubber towel things made to help open jars, and that’s what’s covering the lid.
I’ll agree with you that I would never turn the jar sideways while trying to open it, tho.
I don’t think that can be right because the ridges on it match a tomato sauce lid, there’s no jar opening tool visible. Whatever its material, the lid is being bent in half.
I don’t know any associated lore w/ Blue Archive so I don’t know if her grip strength is like, part of an in-joke here. For me, the only alternative is genAI involvement which, IMO, isn’t impossible but it doesn’t seem to have anything else that jumps out at me as genAI-made. I do see what you mean, tho.
