I didn’t make it past their definition of corruption. Shaping policies to help your investments and using insider knowledge to help you make investments is 100% corruption. It is not equivalent to “celebrity endorsement, book deal, speaking fee, and brand partnership.”
That this person can’t even identify what corruption is is a massive problem, assuming they are just misinformed. At worst, it’s trying to normalize corruption.
