There is so much I’d love to see changed about this series. I doubt anything will ever seriously change to my liking. I think the best thing is to play romhacks or other games that capture the spirit of pokemon.
Do you have any recs for romhacks?
I’m only just getting into it, but I’m playing Pokemon ultra violet.
Is a hack of fire red and it is pretty vanilla, but you can catch all the Pokemon and but have to trade for trade evolutions.
Also, you can choose a starter like normal or go to some kind of safari zone and get something else. I caught a ghastly as my starter.
