Not the first time even this season Conor Daly has dabbled in stock car racing, but it is the first time since he became a free agent whose chances at getting more than oval rides in the future seem to be dwindling in Indycar.

Niece has long been a place for misfit drivers other teams probably wouldn’t take a chance on, I wonder if Conor would consider a more frequent NASCAR gig?

    I have a feeling that he’ll drive whatever someone will pay him to drive. And that’s not a slam.

    (In my opinion talking about drivers who are closely associated with IndyCar isn’t off topic at all, even if it’s in another series or discipline. You don’t need my permission or approval, obviously. Just using this as an opportunity to let folks know my moderating philosophy.)
